Innovate Long Island announced the winners of its annual Innovator of the Year awards, which recognize Long Island’s best and brightest ideas and the incredible people behind them. ULC Robotics and CEO, Gregory Penza, were named one of the winners in the Makers and Manufacturers category.
“We are honored to be recognized by Innovate Long Island for our work in the robotics industry,” said Penza. “ULC’s team of engineers, machinists and field crews are committed to developing robotic systems that solve operations and maintenance problems while reducing costs, increasing efficiency and improving safety for our clients.”
This year’s list includes winners in software development, biotechnology, clean energy, science and technology, invention, craft food & beverage and manufacturing. ULC was chosen after a two-month nomination process and will be honored with the other innovators at an awards breakfast at Crest Hollow Country Club on March 21.
